This image was taken for my client, Nannybird—an LA-based nanny service. I shot at a chic hotel in Hollywood and lucked out with the all-white walls that served as a fabulous bounce card for the floor to ceiling windows that had gorgeous afternoon light streaming in. This image was a detail shot for the day, showcasing one of the nannies playing blocks with the children, who were both eagerly engaged—a rare moment for the rambunctious ones! ; )

Frequently Asked Questions

Adams Speech Therapy is a fee-for-service practice which allows AST to provide customized care on a client's individual timeline. Clients pay their invoices in full monthly, and AST provides Superbills so clients may contact their own insurance company for personal reimbursement.

AST is not in-network for commercial insurance plans nor is AST a Medi-Cal or Medicare provider.

Because AST is not a Medicare provider, AST is not able to charge fee-for-service (out-of-pocket) to anyone who is Medicare eligible (age 65 and over), including for under age 65 disability provisions.

The exception to this would be for elective accent modification or corporate communicative effectiveness services which are “non-covered” health insurance services.

Speech-Language Pathology Services

Speech-language evaluation and therapy recommendations are individualized and based on each client's unique needs, progress, goals, participation, attendance, and clinical response to treatment.

Because the frequency and duration of therapy cannot be predicted with certainty, a Good Faith Estimate reflects the services reasonably anticipated at the time it is issued. The actual number of sessions needed may be greater or fewer than initially anticipated.

If recommendations, treatment frequency, service type, or anticipated duration change during the course of care, an updated Good Faith Estimate may be provided.

A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not guarantee the total cost or duration of treatment.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

Your Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide patients who are uninsured or who choose not to use their insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for health care services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your health care services.

  • You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service.

  • The Good Faith Estimate includes the expected costs of services reasonably anticipated at the time the estimate is provided.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill.

  • Be sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit:
